I see she is listed as an Asics Aggie. She probably just has to get use to having a beer before the race instead of a prayer session.

remember at Falmouth last year, when she droped her drawers in the med tent and took a thermometer up the butt?
dude.
dose of reality: she lacks the raw speed to be a world class miler. she should be racing 10k's like flanagan, or better yet, marathons.
each track race has a minimum raw speed requirement that a distance runner must have in order to ascend to world class level after years of training. you can train all you want, but if your physical gifts say you are a prime candidate for the marathon, you better accept the fact that you're a lightweight who can't run 400m in 55 sec. or better. she won in high school and college by using good old endurance(never seemed to lack it, from what i saw), so why not train to win the 2012 olympic marathon trials?
That's what I say. There are plenty of opportunities in the marathon to make money, too. It seems like there is more of a chance to cash in on marathons than on the track. There are pro marathons all over the world, not to mention the road racing circuit, which I have seen grow from basically a U.S. thing to the world stage.
I think we have a lot of runners who can make a name on the roads.
