blown away- your argument is so compelling that I am throwing in the towel. You win. Name calling is a far stronger argument than logic. But here is the problem- this is what passes for debate these days. We see this at the highest level of our government- people parse words so tightly that we can never be sure how someone else will perceive what we say. Sure, I dropped the word "know" here, but this board does not provide a means to edit posts, so I could not fix the error, which I knew was present.
Truth is, though, I used good grammar, though not as good as I would often like. However, I work at it. I hold with what I said; image matters and clarity is important. Even here you were able to successfully derail my point by using my gaffe- which I pointed out in an earlier post was a typical tactic used by many to shift the topic and at times even hijack the thread. At no time did you ever address the substance of my post. Grow up. Act like an adult and stop calling people names. You win nothing at all that way, and you come across as rather childish. Would you call me a name to my face? Simply because you disagree with me? And I am the elitist bastard? What, then, are you?
And I am out of here. Until wejo starts registering people and actually monitoring the boards, we will continue to see such behaviors here, all behind the anonymity of screen names. It is actually sort of sad that we even have to have this discussion.
