I've got a marathon on May 25th and am starting my taper now. My training has gone very well and I feel ready for my target pace (4:30/km or 7:14/mile). I've been told to do some speed work during my taper, but I dont know what kind, how much and how fast I should do them in. Any suggestions?
ex: I went out last night for some intervals, 6 repeats of 400m @ 10k pace, 45 sec rest, 800 m @ 1/2 mary pace, 90 seconds rest. Should I just continue with that kind of workout?
