My stay at 2000-3200 metres in China was what made it happen.
I went to Kunming on 4-August in roughly 2;25 shape, and I trained very hard, 160-250 km per week.
My training consisted of the usual stuff, tempo runs of 16-25km, 5 long runs including 2 very long runs 40km and 43km, and some track stuff such as 8x1000 and 5x2000.
I will return to China in November, staying at Lijiang, a city that looks about 100k people with wide roads, beautiful surrounding mtns., cool weather and 2400metres altitude (about 8000 feet). My goal is to train hard for 2 months there and boost the hematocrit to about 54 in the process.
I can assure you that "my bag of tricks" is NOTHING but organic Yak meat, rice, fresh fruit/vegetables, and HARD HIGH VOLUME TRAINING at High Altitude. I have already offered USATF to test me, ANYTIME. ANYPLACE.....Blood, Urine, Saliva, Semen, Feces....ANYTHING YOU WANT.

Sevatonic, what the hell are "bilat's interval training" Yes I do weekly sets of intervals, usually 1000s or 2000s.

i.e. 60s on 60s off.
3 min on 1 min off.
1 min on 1 min off.
20s on 20s off.
etc.
