Registration officially closed for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as of last week. The only way to get in the race at this point is to register with one of the official charities of the marathon. Our charity, Imerman Angels 1-on-1 cancer support, is one of the official
charities that still has slots open to enable you to get in the race.
What is Imerman Angels? IA connects a person fighting cancer today ("cancer fighter") with someone who has beaten the same type of cancer (cancer survivor") It is a grassroots organization founded out of Chicago by cancer survivor, Jonny Imerman and is a free service for anyone to reach out and use.
The Imerman Angels marathon team was founded last year and raised $80,000 and this year we are looking to double that number. As a member of our team you will have access to free coaching from experienced marathon coaches, benefits from our great sponsors, monthly team parties, hotel reservations blocked off if you're are coming from out of
town, and tons of support on race day at our tent.
We ask that everyone on the team raises a minimum of $1,000. with our current cost structure this enables us to pair up 4 fighters and survivors thanks to you!
