Been away for awhile and I'm not up on the newest trail shoes. When I was in college I had a pair of Adidas Response Trail shoes and a pair of Nike ones (can't remember the name, but they had the waterproof zip sleeze and the commercial with Kennedy and everyone running in the rain). I seem to remember that Nike made a Storm Pegasus or something like that which had GoreTex and was water resistant.
Anyway, are companies still making shoes like that or was it just a fad for a bit? I've looked a bit at new shoes but mostly they just sound like standard trail shoes, nothing about how they handle elements.
I'm interested to hear from those in the LetsRun community who are experienced in this area. Thanks!
