Did Otterbein really run their top guys??? And wow, for someone who's been following this conference for years... to see Mount's 4x8 behind Wilmington? Wow.

As for weather conditions affecting times in the 10k i was wondering as well.

rumor has it that judy bataille decided not to run because it was not warm enough outside...this rumor was said to be from her coach and is somewhat believable considering that she jogged the 200 meter finals at states one year

For those that asked about Friday's weather, yes it was both hot and windy, hot enough that they had a hose spraying the runners on one end of the track and water for them at the other. Saturday was much cooler and I think the times show that.

How about the freshman girl from Otterbein, Andrea Pautsch, ran the 10K on Friday and took 2nd, then ran the Steeplechase and 5K on Saturday and scored in both (4th and 8th respectively). Wow is that a nasty triple!

That's simply not true. Bataille has been nagged with injuries all year and had some tightness in her hamstring. Also, she didn't jog that 200 at state, she missed the call and had to run in tennis shoes...

Maybe the more impressive girl from Otterbein was their frosh jumper. 17-11 for 2nd in the LJ and then 37-5 in the triple to provo. OC had like 5-6 frosh who scored in the meet...and from talking to one of their coaches, they have another great hurdler coming in next year.

So the Ohio Northern position is posted on the NCAA site. What's the story?

Did Cole leave for somewhere else or just decide to get out of coaching?
