I agree. And, I also think that if you're going to pay someone to model the shoes/clothes, then use your athletes and pay them what you would have paid a model.
Come on, don't be stupid. These ads are all about making John Q. Gallowalker feel like with a little effort he could be one of the guys in that pic. You put Viktor Rothlin in the ad and it loses that appeal. Not that complicated. The rules are different for running apparel than for couture fashion.
I actually don't see that much wrong with those models. The guy with the shaved head and the girl in red both look like they can run well. Only the guy in white with the hat is sort of a douche.
Let me guess... you went to an audition and were canned?
Please explain why this is ridiculous. I don't see the problem - they look like runners or average athletic people.

Friend, where do you live? Those are not normal looking individuals.
It's like Saucony went out of their way to find the most goofy looking people possible. Yes, they are athletic, but god damn those are some fugly looking bastards.
You people will mock anything.

I want to know where you live then because you must be surrounded by attractive people all day long. ; )

I know, ain't it great? Letsrun is like my Disney World.
But seriously, those people are funny looking. From analyzing the photo I could be reasonably sure that they smell funny as well.
Natty, you are severely overstating the case. The two people "No Trio" mentioned look just fine.
Did you check out the shape of that guys head?
Why is it pointed like that?
At least they could have used someone from this planet.

Exactly.
That's the pointiest head I've seen in my life. If you know your head is that pointy why in god's name would you shave your head?
The individual in the middle has a unibrow and looks like the actor in Mr. Bean.
The lady on the right looks high as a kite. If Mike Tyson were a female runner, that would be the result.
i know one of the guys and he is a legit runner, so stop being ignorant
I believe ignorance is one of the biggest problems in society today. The guy in white looks like mr. bean(unsure of actual name). d:]>

I'm not questioning their athleticism. I'm sure they're legit runners. The main thrust of my argument is that they are goofy looking. Incredibly goofy looking. So goofy looking in fact that it is nearly without a doubt that Saucony purposely sought out the fugliness. Tirelessly scouting out city after city until they had gathered the fugliest of the fugliest. An all-star team of unfortunate facial characteristics.
wow just looked at the post again and realized I am not one of the brightest people out there. At least we know he really does look mr. bean and not just trying to put anyone down.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
