I am considering them for stability and I like the look. I am not into the minimalist thing unless it relates to my date's clothing.
Do you think these are good choice?

Excellent stability, but they felt like I was wearing bricks on my feet. Very heavy. Great for overpronation though. So a mixed review at best. I prefer Asics motion control models.
There are others out there for you. The ULTIMATE mainstream shoe in terms of motion control is the Beast. You can try the Foundation from Asics, Renegade from Mizuno, Stabil from Saucony or even the addiction from Brooks. But if you need the amount of control the Beast provides, get used to wearing bricks.

The Brooks beast is good, but heavy like others have mentioned. I suggest you try the New Balance 1011, it's a new shoe and is a great comparison. I just ordered them from www.runningexpo.com and they were super helpful and efficent, not to mention the prices were great. You should check them out if you don't have a great running store close by you!!
Do chicks dig the NB 1011?
El G ran a 1:42.9 800 time trial in these.
ha yes, the troll asking for a shoe review. Really controversial subject. I don't wear the Beast's, but my buddy does, and he's a huge fan. He puts about 80 miles a week, and since he switched to running marathons post-collegiately, he's been injury-free.
2001 was the last good model of Beasts, although I stopped trying the new models when they didn't feel good anymore.

Troll? WTF
I used to run in the addiction 6s all the time. I think I had about 8 pair. Now I get shoes for free. Anyway, the addictions are kind of like a lighter version of the beasts (though still heavy), so you might try them first and see how it goes. I loved the shoe because they never felt like they needed to be broken in. They felt great on the very first run.
