It was my subconscious thinking typing out loud. If he doesn't cut it back to only running 3 days a week he may be needing a segway to get around. Hmmm, I have a feeling your initials are P.R. or J.D.???
Ian, if you don't pay more attention to grammar and spelling, instead of owning your own running store, you'll be serving tofu dogs with that nice women at the Trolley Stop.

Oops. "woman". Hey, with my spelling maybe I'll be there, too.

We're all losing it! And here I am trying to learn French. I should adopt your spelling -- what matters is whether we are understood, right?
Props to Mr. O'Keefe on his formula for improvement.

Are you a Buckeye?
There was a girl at my high school who ran there 10-15 years before I did. I remember out coach would always tell us about her very unique training situation. She had amazing talent, but would get injured whenever she did more than 30 or so miles per week. So here's what he did to train her.
Sunday- long (2 hours plus) bike ride.
Monday- an hour or more of aqua jogging.
Tuesday- duel meet, sometimes combined with a workout. Short distance run in the morning to get her legs under her.
Wednesday- an hour or more of aqua jogging.
Thursday- track workout for most of the season, aqua jogging if she had a big race that weekend.
Friday- easy distance run.
Saturday- big invitational, or track workout.
This girl ended up running low 2:1X in high school, and ran 2:05ish for Villanova. She may not have maximized her performance relative to her talent, but she did a hell of a lot better than if she just kept getting injured.
