"Whatever you do dont Hydrate." That is essentially what a once prominent (in land far far away) D-I Cross Country team was told by their brilliant coaching staff.
Why?
On our last 2.5hr road trip the coaches seemed to be shocked and appaled that two van loads of Runners had to stop and urinate.
So now we Have been warned: (in an indignant tone) "Guys the bathroom breaks have got to stop. do what you have to do before you leave. dont drink so much. hydrate when we get there"
2hrs to get properly hydrated?! Has any body else encountered bathroom Nazi coaches? From a physiological stand point does this make sense? Any feed back would be appreciated.
gaaaahhhgg! (incensed)
