C'mon, neither getting a tattoo nor remaining uninked is particularly "rebellious". Sitting on the shitter for two years until your skin envelops the seat - now that's hard. core. rebellious.

WHy does everyone tag getting a tattoo with rebellion. The last thought that ran through my mind when I decided to get a tattoo was, "holy shit, this is rebellion at it's finest!"

Actually, I have a Masters degree, so I'm not uneducated.
When you are working on your Ph.D., use "a lot" instead of "alot," which is not a word.
I will. Thank you.

Not getting a tattoo is far more rebellious these days than getting a tattoo.
No, it isn't. In most cases there isn't anything particularly rebellious about either decision. Although, my first tattoo was kind of an act of rebellion. My Dad told me he would kick me out of the house if I got a tattoo. So I got one. He didn't kick me out. He just got really pissed and told me he was disappointed. Sorry Dad.
i just got a pop tarts tattoo on my right shoulder.. too bad it'll wear off soon.
anyway never been a fan of tattoos. but my friend mentioned the idea of a tattoo of the two stars from peter pan.. some sh*t about never never land, it sounded pretty cool. then he said that the guitarist from fall out boy has one so i was like well f*ck that.
HAHA. Unless the person is black (where the tattoo percentage is very high), in which case you aren't white trash, but..... Hmmmm.....what are you then? Black trash? (The breathe is sucked out of the audience.....)
"black trash"
