There shouldn't be women's division in any sports. Not in professional sports anyways. If you can't hang with the boys, too bad. There is a reason why no one watches women's sports. Because women are not built for athletic competition, so it's boring to watch.
Seperate divisions is fine for grade school sports and intramural teams. When it's just for fun, girls should have an all-girls team they can participate on. But when we're talking professional sports where the athletes are getting paid to perform, what's the point? Why pay a female athlete to play in the WNBA when she wouldn't make the D-League in the NBA? Or how about track and field? I didn't get paid for running the 800 in 1:58. So why should a woman? Women want equality in the work place. Well, professional sports are "the workplace" and things are hardly equal.
Women have proven that they can perform as well as men in the corporate world, the science lab, as medical doctors, etc. And they should be treated as equals. But leave the sports to dudes. Women have not yet attained equality in that department. If a woman is good enough to play in the NBA or MLB then give her a contract. Otherwise, what's the point in creating professional women's divisions?
There was not a single lie in this post yet it was downvoted to hell. Amazing.

Even though about 1% of the population agrees with you? Not everyone hates women.

I agree. May the best persxn win regardless of division. But if we have divisions, we should just have the best athletes in each division: in the women's, whether they're women or ciswomen, we should just take the best athletes.
Sailing doesn't have gender divisions which makes sense, but it should probably have economical divisions so that poor people can compete. I would like to watch the US 'grew up eligible for free lunch' Olympic Sailing team

Agree as Well. Extra female divisions are the prime example of sexism. Women get a gold medal for being worse than hs boys. Equal outcome by definition
Women's basketball uses a smaller ball for some stupid reason.
Women's hands are smaller. Also, the lighter ball makes it a little easier to make long passes and put up long shots. Not certain why they should be beholden to the size that has been deemed to be the right size for 6'9" men.
I played on the middle school basketball team in 7th grade when I was 5’3 and we used a regulation men’s ball. An interesting side point is I couldn’t even touch the backboard until 9th grade despite thousands of unsuccessful attempts in middle school, but nicked the rim by end of 10th grade and could dunk by senior year. By college could dunk very easily one or two handed, so persistence pays off. My last dunk I’ve done was at 34 and the only one I have recorded on video.
Chess is separated by gender but it doesn't seem like it needs to be.
It isn't. There's an open division where all can compete and a women's division exclusively for women, added for their benefit. It just so happens that the open division is dominated by men (making people think it's a men's division).
The feminists will screech until the cows come home but if world War 3 starts they'll all be proven hypocrites as they'll want to revert to the kitchen and not be on the front lines. Feminism only exists for convenience purposes, not commitment.
The next war should be fought by drone pilots who will look amazing like guys living in their parent's basements
