good luck.
i just did that EXACT workout with the same times this past week...i ran a 1:59 the week before after running the 1200 in 3:10 by myself...i feel like i could run a 1:56-1:57 so that'd be my guess for you as well
My Guess Would Be 1:59 - 2:01
if I knew your faster quarter I could give you a better idea, but I want to say 1:56
stop making shitty music then get back to me
1:58
rest is too long.. also do more reps. if you averaged 27 for 10 200s with 30sec rest, i'd say 1:48, but you didn't, so i'd say close to 2:00
not sure about your 800 but your 1200 would be 9:43
Why would you suggest a shorter rest interval for such a fast session? There's a difference between doing a volume of 200s at slightly above race pace and doing a small number of them at faster than race pace. 1:10 is plenty short enough for the latter workout.
I predict you run 1:56-1:58, depending on your general fitness. I ran a very similar workout a couple weeks ago and followed it up with 1:57.71. I'm a speed-based 800m runner, so if you've got better endurance, which you might, you could run faster than that.

i could do that workout right now, and i am only in about 2:01 shape
solid workout. you'll get under 2:10
competed and ran 2:13, thanks guys, wasnt what i wanted and i faded at the end but its a start
No way doing that workout with 30 seconds rest would give you a 1:48.
Perhaps your endurance is the missing component? You averaged 33+ seconds per 200m, about 6 seconds slower then in the workout.
my splits for each 200 where 29/31/32/41. I think I can turn that 2.13 into a 2.08 by the end of the season. Is that enough to get me into a D1 school?
oh for your info I am a senior male with a GPA of 2.0
Holy crap, a last 200 of 41, man that had to hurt. I’d start looking at your training and doing some speed endurance as I really don't think the wheels should have come off like that. Something like 12*200 with declining recovery, start off with 1:50 and take 10 seconds off with every rep so you should have 10 seconds between rep 11 and 12.
I could probably do that workout in 29s, and I've never run faster than about 2:08. I would predict 2:02
