You may remember the kid from this Tenn. HS team from a few months back, asking how to get his 800 time from 1:57 to 1:47. He and his teammates have some awfully high hopes. Like being the top-ranked HS team in the country.

Knoxville West's Dusty Miller, TN 1600M champ, took the lead in the first 400M and was not challenged. Lance Ivey of Oak Ridge, 2nd to Miller at the first area All-Comers meet, had a great last mile to edge Chris
Bush of William Blount and Bobby Beeson of Bearden for 2nd.The team race went to Science Hill with a 13, 16, 18, 20, 27 finish. Oak Ridge was a close 2nd. McMinn Co's #1 runner (in third with 800 to go)
dropped out dooming them to a 4th place finish.
