Okay man, the guy looked at the 2007 alt. adjustments, which were valid til just over MONTH ago. Give him a break and quit acting as if the difference between the two were seconds apart. Still comes out 3:55 converted.
http://www1.ncaa.org/eprise/main/playingrules/track/2007Outdooraltitudeadjustments.pdf?ObjectID=43160&ViewMode=0&PreviewState=0He runs for the club, but he he lives and trains here most of the time. That race was amazing. For any of you who have not been inside the indoor track here at TTU, it's not the greatest. It was originally built as an indoor football training facility, but they had money left over and decided to throw in a track. So a lap is some random distance, a little over 200 meters. The track isn't banked, but is shaped like a circle. Plus the air is dry and hard to breathe. I'm amazed they ran that fast, but it was awesome...especially since Haron's main focus is 10k road races.
Here is the link to the race. Sorry that race is blue, there is something wrong with flotrack right now but it is going to get fixed later tonight or tommrow.. You guys know how busy Mark can be... Hope you enjoy.

They broke the track record by 8 (!!) seconds. That track is a circle of 236m and not all that fast. If they can run 3.58 there, they must be able to run like 3.52 on a good track. Anyone who has ever run the mile there can testify to that.

please!! Please!! answer me.
-Did Haron ran a 10k somewhere last week?
-who coaches him?
-His he fully funded by NB or he is just being given the running facilities?
-Did they did some reconstruction on Tech indoor track?if not that is damn fast.
I am really curious to know how the race developed, i have never thought 4 min barrier will be broken at Tech.
Haron is still coached by the T-Tech coach Jon Murray.
I dont believe he is fully funded by NB but I may be wrong
Oh, and here is a preview of the track.. So you guys can see what the track looks like on the inside.

Irene broke the facility record in that race.
You gotta be kiddin'!
Why are they on probation?
The rumor is that..
Some kid went under 12 hours and didn't tell the coach. He didn't get a grade report or something. He went to Nationals and scored points. The Coach didn't find out until september or so and called NJCAA and told them what happend as soon as he found out someone went under hours. For being honest NJCAA just suspended them from a national meet instead of stripping a title because the coach was honest.
But that is a rumor
That is a load of bull.. They aren't going cause they can't afford to drive up to illinos for the meet. They will win Outdoor for sure.

Do you know the inelegible student was?
i think rend lake has a guy who could run with the south plains guys.. i beielve his name is boaz lan...somthing... he ran a 1:47.xx just recently at IU and also ran like a 4:02. this guy has the wheels to run with anyone.
also has anyone looked at the times put in by juco thus far. Juco is incredible right now with all these athletes being freshman and sophmores only. now i know some may be 22 year old freshman from kenya lol..however still freshman and running extremely fast. how anyone wondered what happened to the juco days where a average white guy could place top three in an event. In today juco field you have to be basically all american status for division 1 to even place top 5.Juco is like a baseball farm league right now.
No

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
