Ezkyas Sisay is very powerful. 18 year old from.

He ran 1:03.19. He is a former national steeplechase champion from Ethiopia 2006 2005

This is a down hill coarse.. thus the fast times.

I expect the times will be about 45 seconds slower on a 'normal' coarse.

that being said.. i think they went out too fast.

The total opposite actually happened, they went out really slowly and only picked it up towards the end. I was at 3 miles and 10 miles and they came through in around 15 mins and 49.10ish. Lemoncello was in the lead when he came by me with a group of around 5 guys. They must have really picked it at the end for them to have run 63.12

I did 3M Half 2nd leg..... but it's more hill then down hill SO.... YOU CAN'T RUN Half Marathon down hill

these are the splits I got from the truck:

Mile 1: 5:15

Mile 2: 10:08

Mile 3: 15:03

Mile 4: 19:50

Mile 5: 24:22

Mile 6: 29:21

10K: 31:18

Mile 7: 34:26

Mile 8: 39:09

Mile 9: 44:02

Mile 10: 48:54

Mile 11: 53:33

Mile 12: 58:11

Lemoncello threw down two 4:32 miles along with more than a few 4:43's and 4:50's, to shake things up. Harroufi told me that he was content to sit and kick after he saw how slow things were at mile 3. Lemoncello was the only guy trying to push the pace and he did all the work.
