Greetings to all on this cold blustery morning along the Albermarle sound. Winter running in the South is a joy for the most part, it does not usually get very cold in comparison to other parts of the country, plus there are no mosquitos. Once it gets warm here bugs are everywhere. No hot ,nasty humidity to speak of makes it much easier to run here in the winter then the summer. Of course it easy to say I like winter running when "cold" means 35 degrees or so.
Running Times named their Masters of the Year again in the March issue and we know a few as regulars here. Socal Pete was given 3rd for his 24;51 at the Shamrock 8k and Tony Young and Mike Scannell were Honorable mention. You are all 1st team in my book. If I missed any regular poster I apologize it is because I only know you as your handle not your real name.
Hope everyone is running well and staying injury free. Post em up !!!!
