Man, can I get some of whatever it is that you're on? It must be some pretty good stuff.
7:35 tops.
I am not on anything. I am just hoping for sub 7.30. I am a fan of his.
I'll be watching from the stands and hoping for a sub-7:30, but I have to agree that you're out of your mind if you EXPECT a sub-7:30. Mottram did not have the best track season last year, and even though he's well removed from it, I haven't read or heard anything on LR or elsewhere that makes it seem as if he's peaking for Reebok Boston. While RB is certainly a huge meet, I'm not sure that anyone in an Olympic year will be in sub-7:30 shape in late January.

I hope not.
If he does, we'll have to hear all about his gigantic balls, ad nauseum.
Reckon Baddeley could be a threat, albeit a small one. The guy looks like he's come on loads over the last year and is undoubtedly the fastest racewalker on the planet.
the winner will be 7:40;
mottram
willis (with NR)
cragg
in the past few years it has been won in pretty slow times, not close to 730
Solid race. Buster is back
I stand accused. The guy looked ridiculously strong! I know you guys see the 7:34 and are understandably impressed, but if you see how controlled he was and how he could have picked it up at any point (if he wanted or needed to), you'd see that this guy is ready to go sub-13 right now.
Willis tried to hang on (with his pretty little stride) but just couldn't handle that pace and died hard the last 400-600 meters.
I seem to remember that he doesn't really "peak" in the classical Lydiard sense, more that he is ready to run a solid race at just about any point in his season.
Looks like 7:35 was just a tad too slow. Honestly, I expected it to go in 7:40ish, but I always like to be surprised.
