Where is it?
Where is it?
On the ground.
Couldn't resist.
In the air.
clever.
my favorite was parts of humboldt state park in humboldt county california - near the avenue of the giants but on the trails
lots of rivers, trees that are wider than cars and trucks - sun, soft single track trails with no one around, good hills
i don't live there either and never have
now we can wait for all the reply posts
"i live in atlanta or gary, indiana or hillbilly, kansas and it is the darn greatest place or run
well no i've never been of out my town but i need to feel good about my pathetic and life and town so i'm sticking to my statement"
Western Washington.
Mild climate, abundance of hills, paved trails, forested trails, good scenery, and some quick people if you know where to look.
Southern California...
I have a special hatred in my heart for paved trails. Accessibility, etc, I know, but it pains me to see what would otherwise be beautiful, soft surfaces paved with hard asphalt and concrete.
omg. i went there last spring and it blew my mind off! the weather there was perfect!! no wind and its humid, but not hot!!! next to the ocean as well, so good for running on beach and some mountains so good for hills.
are you kidding me?
smog and heat..no thanks.
s.f. bay area- hands down.
So Cal isn't so bad if you stay out of the valley
running in L.A. is certainly a colossal shitfest
eugene or boulder
Humboldt County, most amazing trails you will ever run on, along rivers, the ocean, running along the largest redwood trees in the world. There is no place better
How about the trails near the Duke campus?
Rain forest, Olympic Peninsula. Near Lake Quinault.
Incredible trails. Prefer early summer. Like running in Hawaii without the humidity and heat.
