You never looked black on Gilligan's Island there Thurston. In fact, I think the only blacks on the island were the Harlem Globetrotters. How's Lovey doing, by the way?

This guy is nothing more than a hood rich dumb ass who finds himself above the law because he is a professional athlete. He is doing a great job of making all of us in Brevard county sick of him and his antics. GROW UP XAVIER, you're not in high school at Palm Bay anymore, you're in the real world toolbag!!

Please use some f***ing capital letters.
Damn these arrogant punks. They think they are God's gift to the world because they are Gators. Pay the damn chips, and stop throwing sandwiches at people. Like Rudy G. did for the squeegeemen in NYC, its time to take a stand and no longer tolerate these college morons stealing food. 30 days in the slammer should set these boys straight.
Florida sports is OUT OF CONTROL. Its why I follow the Patriot League and FCS football.

-GET OVER IT!!!
did you guys read the article?
Xman wasn't involved in the altercation in the restaurant. He was seen walking with someone who was later that night and then when the cops drove by he ran. He didn't do much. It probably is a bit of racism and that's really never the type of opinion I hold.

are you a f***ing idiot? do you think i should have clarified that I AM BLACK? why should i have to do that anymore than you clarifying that you are white? pull your head out of your ass. i'll be the first to admit that poor judgement and human stupidity know no color.
No, I'm not an idiot. No, I do not think you should have clarified that you are black. No, you should not have to clarify whether or not you're black any more than I clarified whether or not I am white.
If it wasn't clear from me saying "Don't feel attacked Thurstin" I will reiterate - Don't feel attacked Thurstin. I used your text and modified it b/c it was a lot easier than writing any of my own. I didn't use your text with modifications in an attempt to show that you felt as if Xavier is a waste because he's black or guilty because he's black. The first portion of your orinigal post is an accurate representation of how some (more than likely MANY) people will react upon reading this story and I was using that as a demonstration for how people will react. I said that "it just seems like Xavier was guilty for being African American before he committed this crime or was with people who committed this crime," which was my point and it holds water.

Can you explain yourself? If it were 3 white kids, and 2 of them steal chips from a store and the guy working there tells them not to and then they threaten the guy and run off and then the cops are called and white Xavier runs off, would anyone say there race has anything to do with it?
I don't see how race plays a role here. The guys stole chips and then ran from the cops.
i want to meet the cop who caught him "running from the police"
that would be an impressive feat
I think what I'm trying to say is that Xavier is assumed guilty of a crime beyond resisting arrest without violence b/c of his race. The thread starts out with Xman just doesn't get it, a plea for him not to turn T&F into a sport of thugs and criminals, and comments on how the 3 arrested men will undoubtedly use police racism in their defense. These comments aren't necessarily anti-black but it isn't hard to look at them and not see loaded comments that are anti-black. To our knowledge Xavier ran away in this case, he did not commit the crime that the other two were arrested for. Granted, he ran away and he has committed (at least) one crime in the recent past so I agree that he should pay his debt to society for those, and I do not want him to set a trend of T&F athletes who think they are above the law, but stating some of the other things or thinking he is destined for a life of crime seems more like racism than a accurate appraisal of what happened or what might happen.
The thing that might come up concerning race in the scenario of 3 white kids is that the three white kids would be more likely to get a slap on the wrist b/c they are 3 white kids who made one bad choice. Whereas I would say that in in Xavier's case people react by saying it's 3 black men doing what black people always do. I'm not saying he's 100% innocent or he's a great person - what I'm saying is he's just a black man who made a bad choice so give him a slap on the wrist (or whatever he deserves for his actions) and let him win some more races. Don't sentence him to life in prison or assume he's going nowhere b/c he's black and black people commit crimes.
mouse aint gonna put up with this shit
close but not quite. It was Larry Wade's bag, swiped at an airport, and Larry and Mo ran down the thief and got the bag back. Before World Champs in 99.
His father must be as big an idiot as his kid. He talks like his kid is famous and unable to handle the publicity and fame. Newsflash: Nobody has a clue who your kid is.
does anyone here know how the cop was able to catch Carter? i dont understand how this was possible without assistance or at least cornering him...

-how can you assume that's the accurate representation of everyone here? it wasn't mine and i f***ing wrote it!! in the future, please don't edit or manipulate my comments to further your ridiculous little tirades. further, stop making excuses for idiots who make bad decisions- black, green, white, whatever. your attitude is one of the reasons that propogates mediocrity and continuance of a ruthless cycle.
single kind of guy- please crawl out from under your bridge in alabama and wake the f*** up. your ridiculous attitude of ignorance and generalization is as poisonous as bop's. there is no need for it, and i find it very offensive.
Boogie woogie n*****
Boogie woogie
As dave chappell would say
Great episode by the way
Running from cops is one of the most exhilirating things you can do. I have gotten away from a helicopter in the bush(my car still got impounded) on foot and it was amazing. Xman probably just ran 400 meters away and then tried to hide. The key is to keep moving, get as far away as possible, then call someone to bring you back. He got caught due to his laziness.
May he was just following Cabada's lead, running from the cops. Cabada is supposed to be back in Bloomington next month for his court appearance.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
