Nice result from Bromley, an 800m guy. Maybe we'll see him move up to the 1500?
Someone already mentioned that Gregson is with Bideau

How big are Gregson's balls? That is the key to knowing his running future!
Dolby and jefferries are also in the Bideau group. Curtis is part of the group who train near Yabbie Creek under Tony Holden. Also in the group are 18yr old max sutherland whos ran a sub 14 5k,damian roberts a 3.39 1500m man and the up and coming Ryan Tolhurst the 15yr old kid whos just run a 3.51 1500.not bad at all.
kane, u spin more shit than PJ Bosch
wow those are seriously amazing times, much more impressive for depth than even the USA! Jeez...combine Aussie and NZ and there is some phenominal talent down under.
3:51 at 15 is ridiculous. He may be under 4 minutes for the mile by the time he's 18.
Rumour has it that Sutherland is going to Arkansa to join Forrest.

1500-3.45
3k-8.11
5k-13.58
Any idea of what training these guys are doing?
real depth in australia. a 3.51 1500 for a 15yr old is top class and an 8.01 3k! hope these guys keep it up
Aidan Jefferies who ran 8.12 last week only started training 6months ago seriously. He was also on the Ausrailian schoolboy rugby team. He should run well at world cross in the Spring. Aus could be a medal contender with Gregson,Dolby and Jefferries.
how the hell hasnt Bideau got his hands on Tolhurst yet? By 2012 Gregson will be 22 and Tolhurst 20. Will they both reach the Olympics i wonder.
I have heard about Holdens group. They do alot of their training at highschool as Holden is the p.e teacher there. His most notable athletes have been Joey Rainbow,Lee Troope and Tom ponytail Nash who ran a 29.09 10k back in 1998 as a 19yr old i think.
This depth is getting amazing every year the aussies are improving, lets just hope that they can hang around the sport and get steady improvements each year.
correct me if i'm wrong but i'm quite sure the people you are talking about are either not Australian or don't exist
what about Max McIllroy from queensland who ran 3.52, 8.16 (8.49 2mile) and 14.18 at only 16 last year? I havent seen his name in the results this year.
im pretty sure that 8:18 converts to considerably slower than 8:49 for a full 2 mile seeing as that would mean closing in 31 for 218 meters AFTER and all-out 3k
maybe 8:57 or so would be more realistic?
16 or 17 years old - or actually born the same year.
Seems really non-informative to list current age instead of birth year.
was this supposed to be funny?
The World Juniors in 2years should tell alot. Gregson and Tolhurst should medal.
but world juniors are next year, and tolhurst doesn't exist
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
