I recently measured one of my running routes using my bike computer and realised I usually average 6:20-6:35/mile for most of my running. Today I did 90min at ~6:30/mile. I'd estimate my 10k right now at ~34:30 (I have a race in a week so I'll have a better idea then). I'm currently doing 2 workouts per week: 1. Cruise intervals or tempo run at Daniels T pace; 2. R-pace intervals (e.g. 10x30s with 90s easy pace recovery). I'm running about 45 miles per week. Obviously I'm running a fair bit faster than Daniels or others would suggest for my easy/long runs. Should I be running slower?
Also, I should mention I'm a duathlete, so my mileage probably looks low but I ride my bike for 8-10 hours per week as well.
