In fairness, she is well past High School phenom status. She is an NCAA title holder now.
Yes she is. That is like saying she is no longer a high school graduate either.
I am leaning toward her not competing again. It has been a while and she isn't posting constantly about rehab and training. I think something is going on with her post college pro running.
I hope she gets a chance to return to top fitness and compete again. Our sport is more interesting when everyone has a chance to be in the mix. Justyn Knight and Will Paulson have been out for ages with injuries and you rarely see updates from them. But at a certain point it would get frustrating, posting updates regularly saying, “We’re working on it. Hope to be back soon.”
Her disappearance coincided with entering the testing pool. It seems suspicious.
As far as I'm aware, she doesn't have a qualifier. Correct me if I'm wrong.

She does not, but the field will be 30 and she is currently #26. There are five runners behind her that are competing at NCAAs in two weeks that could, if they all run faster than 15:15, knock her out. The only available entry then would be to have some runners not enter, like Monson and Frerichs.
My person al feelings are that she will be one of the runners who does not enter, opening a spot for someone else.

I thought that Monson's surgery has her out for an extended period. I am confident that Tuohy will be top 30.

Agree, she does look very fit. If she has been battling an injury, I’m hoping it will have resolved and she will compete at the trials, if even for the experience.
She’s an incredible athlete, and this new wave of young female distance runners we have is very promising. Would love her to continue to be a part of that.
A TRACK: All-Access workout video featuring Tuohy might answer a few questions.
It would be great to see her run! Some of the vitriol toward her is so confusing. She seems like a great kid and role model from what I can see. Let’s hope her and all of our young talent can get healthy and compete. It’s the most exciting it’s been in awhile.
