I was lucky enough to meet Dr. Vigil at a Level II school in Colorado Springs; spoke with him for about an hour in the dorms at the Olympic Training Center. Once of the most inspirational 60 minutes of my life, he left me feeling that it would just be a matter of time before I was coaching an Olympian. I can understand why he was such a good coach, he inspires with every word out of his mouth.
Having said that, his book read very much like Lydiard's books .... which means confusing as hell. When you read one of Lydiard's books you feel like you understand less about his program AFTER you finish it. After you read Dr. Vigil's book, you're left with a lot of information, but you will also, probably, be a little foggy on how to apply it. Just my 2 cents worth.
If you ever see him presenting at a clinic, MAKE SURE YOU GO!
Martin Johns was his name I believe.

I've been fortunate enough to hear him speak at two clinics and each time he has brought copies of his book. That's how I was able to get one. They sell pretty quick.
I bought a paperback copy of Vigil's "Road to the Top" at the Adams State College bookstore where they had several copies in stock. Try contacting them.
