Just noticed that the men's race is now 3 large laps and not 4. It says it is 9.8k but I think it could be shorter. I run round there every day and I'm not sure that 3 of those zig-zag loops will be the same size as an extra large lap.
Is it nice and dry at the moment? Can't imagine it being as sticky as last year.
It's bone dry at the moment, but we could have some rain in the next few weeks. Last yr was really tough. There was a fair on the field which really churned up the start and finish area last summer as well as it rained heavily when they were moving it away. It's a harder course than people think. Loads of people go off like it is a 5k and suffer.
