who knows? i couldn't run that workout to save my life, don't have the speed, but i could run 15:50 for 5k. it depends what other kind of training you've done, what type of runner you are, etc.
the best way to find out is to go race a 5k. then you'll know what you can run for 5k.

I know, but I've got a race coming up and I was looking for a good time to shoot for. I'd like to break 15, and was wondering if that was a realistic goal. Although from reading what other guys said it sounds like I might be shooting too high.
ill say go for it!
I have run 14.20.
My best average for 5x1km is 2min52, with 90-2min Rec, you should be looking for 14.30-14.50, especially if your a lying troll.
Depends what the rec were and what type of runner you are, for me (all strength based) what I run in a session of 5*1km's pretty much equals my 5km shape... sometimes not even.
