Today I ran 8x300 in 50-51, except last one in 48. 90 seconds rest. Hard workout.
What should I be able to run in the mile?

4:45?
that sounds fairly doable
I doubt you could break 5
4:44.98. He showed strength on the last one.
Maybe 4.40....either way id focus on building some sort of a base...then run your mile...
I think you can break 5....maybe 4:50-4:55...but it won't come easy.
I miscalculated your 300 time, I was thinking 60 for some reason. With that I think you could maybe go under 440
shoot to break 5.
This is the joy of "predict my time" threads. This guy has gotten anywhere from 4:55 to sub-4:40. Any runner who can't guess an accurate fifteen second range for their mile ability is way out of touch with his running.
Id go with 4:50
according to Purdy tables thats about a 540 pt workout which is about a 5:15 mile
whatevery you would run, it sure as hell couldn't get you into BFCC (Blackfeet Community College) for non-college cross country fiends
Nah, he's gotta be quicker than 5:15. I've done 10X300m in 58-61 seconds (90 sec to 2 min rest), and I'm sitting at about 5:15 for the mile. I'll go with 4:40.
When I was running in the low 4:50s I did 12 300's at 52, same rest, so I doubt 8 at 50-51 would put him at 4:40, I'd say closer to 5 flat or so.

Not to make fun of the kid...but that was a hilarious post.
How about this! GO RUN A MILE AND FIND OUT!
You could run a mile in just about anything really. I would recommend some split shorts, a singlet, and a pair of jasaris though.
13:15
The last 300 in 48? Go 48x2 = 1:36 mabe a 2:10 800m and 4:44 to 4:50 mile.
