Once again you rocket scientists missed an essential part of this debate. Bob Kennedy's best career time was 12:58-IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER. Pre didn't have an ENTIRE CAREER-he died when he was 25. Anyone that thinks that 13:21 was the fastest he would have ever gone is on crack. I think with a full career he would have been in the neighborhood of 13:10, maybe just a shade under that. With that being the case I think he would have been better than Kennedy, AND he would have been in the mix again with a shot to win in AT LEAST one more Olympics-Kennedy was in the mix in only one. Wake up people, Pre was easily better. Saying Kennedy is better is like saying Burrell was better than Lewis-he ran faster than Carl ever did or saying that Montgomery is a better all time sprinter than Mo.
