To add insult to injury, Chcago not only messed up the water situation, they messed up the results too. I've talked with 3 different people who used their own chips and all have the wrong name in the results (And obviously the people who they are listed as have the wrong name too).

I think the point was that if threirs were messed up, then other people's were messed up too.
Yes, and my point is that when you are working with 45,000 chip assignments there will be slippage and the marathon office will correct the errors.
Don't make it sound like it was a widespread problem.
part of the reason I don't use the personal chip i stupidly bought once. i have seen this happen before at other races too.
