Do a search. It was discussed here not too long ago.
Took me 4 days.. Wore a jock or compression shorts during the first week back.

totally varies. i ran 3 miles the day after, 5 the day after that and after that was back to normal. Maybe my small testicles make it easier.
Get some good runs in prior to the surgery and don't rush back too soon. I thought I was being smart by waiting a week and then easing into running and eventually into swimming and then biking, but I was mistaken. 1st week back I got in 35 miles and swam for a couple of hours. The next week, things were not feeling quite the same down south. Bottom line, I felt okay after a week of doing nothing, but did not feel completely back to normal for a month. Good luck and watch out for the shot and the clamping of the vas def.
Took one day off. Did nine miler two days after vasectomy. No problems at all.

good bye ?!?! are you getting a vasectomy or being castrated?
I REGRET!! GOT SMALLER, AND IT IS NOT THE SAME!!! DON'T DO IT!!!
Just got one on 9/18. Unlike you, I used the search function. The thing I learned it is doesn't matter when some anonymous internet poster claims he was able to run. (like 2 days later?? B.S.). I schedule my vas for an afternoon. I ran at lunch that day and didn't take another stride for 6 days.
I didn't mind the time off because I found that went I wanted to run, my body was also ready. Even though my pain lingered longer than normal, I felt best when running.
Make sure you buy a jock and use it on your runs.
Did you hear about the guy who had his vasectomy done at Sears? Everytime he gets an erection, his garage door opens.

The most valuable piece of information you will get. My doc said wear the jock all the time for a couple of weeks and he was right, it helped.
How quickly you can run again will depend on what happens to the boys in terms of swelling. I was one of the 1% that had major league swelling and it was bad. I was able to run again a week after the surgery, just a couple of easy miles at first. Stay away from the downhills at first as the less jostling around the better.
What my doc said is to really just use your judgment on running afterwards- that you will know if it's too much too soon.
It isn't BS. I did run two days later. Vasectomies, when done right, are virtually if not completely painless. There is a small chance of bleeding that comes with running fairly soon. Usually, though, if a blood vessel isn't wacked during the vasectomy itself, it won't be during a run two days afterward. I also have a friend who ran the day after. No ill effects.
why exactly do you want to get yourself neutered?
what is it with you gut. My wife has a diaphragm;my secretary is on the pill and there are condoms for passing
strangers what's up with you guys honestly.
I got mine while doing an hour tempo run on the treadmill at world gym. No one complained about the blood on the floor; at least to my face.
I ran the next day. Try to avoid steep downhills for a few weeks.
BE CAREFUL !!!!!!! I had all kinds of problems (swelling, pain,) etc. Three weeks after it would hurt if I hit a bump in the road while driving my car. I was out of running for 6 weeks. I also developed a pocket of fluid in my left nut that forced me to wear a jock 24/7 for a year. Most people can get back to running in 7-10 days.Anybody that tells you to go back a couple days after is not giving you good advice. If you rush back you might have to go back under the knife. I did a real hard 2 weeks of training before the procedure and my body ended up needing a rest (not 6 weeks, but 1 week would have been good). Maybe try to schedule your snip the day after a race. Good luck.
