Can you imagine anywhere near this level of resentment if the runner in question was say Mottram, who became a US citizen and was winning races?
Heck, on any given day we are rivetted by Mottrams accomplishments and he is Aussie...but also a good white runner.
You are a dumbass. There's hardly any "resentment" here about Lagat, people like you always looking for the negative in something make me sick. And yeah a lot more people would disapprove of Mottram becoming a citizen than Lagat, I'm sorry if that doesn't mesh well with your theory of all whites are racists, chump.
ON THE OTHER HAND, there is nothing wrong with enjoying the diversity someone like Mottram adds to the elite distance running field. He comes from a lot different background, has different genetic phenotype (except he is also blessed with running genes most of us could never dream of). I am sure if Kenya produced a young sprinter or pole vault phenom the letsrun crowd would be all over that story and cheer for him like they do with Mottram...the story of someone who comes from a race (East Africa) that traditionally does very poorly at events dominated by West African (descent) or Caucasians.
For as much as racial diversity is applauded in this country you sure do have a bitter take on it. Why don't you go tighten your cilice...
