I am entering new realms in my running. I am 34, 6'1, 160lbs. Not looking to lose weight (other than a pound or two). I am running in the 70-80 mpw range, and ramping up to 100mpw. Normal cube dweller to pay the bills. There's the background, here's the question.
Even now, my diet consists off too much junk, but as I ramp the miles up it I am concerned I will be eating even more junk food (cookies, vending machine snacks in the middle of the day). So, What do people do to stay fueled? Do you eat 5 meals a day? How do you work that into a work schedule? How do you prepare enough food? How do you not over eat? Any other ideas on diet?
