Are these the powerful New England D2 and D3 teams? Yeah...watch out for these guys...they look ...tough....or something.

here is the link to the pre-race entries.

hey 'voice of reason', are you going to trash providence for not running all their guys at dartmouth also?
i'm not trumpeting lowell or keene for the title but i suspect mark miller has a couple more national championships than you do.

Adams State's men and women are ranked 3rd and 2nd respectively in Division II. I have not seen their men run, but their women's team is pretty strong. They will compete and beat most division I teams. Good coaching and hard work is not limited to Division I, just the use of more funding.

The question is if New Hampshire brings everyone, if not then i give them third. the inside track is that iona got a couple of good transfers from overseas and if this is true than they will be the team to beat.
aaron rowe of 'boro will be tough, watch for him. he is recovering from mono but will still run well.
Three main guys to watch are definitely McArdle, Reid, and Riley. Iona wins, Dartmouth second.
everyone's underestimating Navy. They got some nasty runners. Am I right or am I right
Adams deserves a lot more respect than most people on this thread are giving them. The only DII teams that even have a chance of touching them this year are western, abilene and harding. They will make a pretty good showing against the DI teams this weekend and have a very good shot to win the meet.
Apparently the Mids are not running at Iona this year. They're going to the Roy somethingorother Invitational in Minn. instead.

They may be able to handle McArdle quite easily. I don't know the man, but, on his website, he says that he is training straight through the race and has "low expectations".
McArdle will win this one easily...I say mid 24.
If McArdle runs mid 24, he's not going to win easily. Graeme Reid and Peter Riley should be around the 24:30 - 24:40 range.
My pick is reid from iona. Watch out!
Buzz Doyle wins easily.
I think Bobby Doyle has a better shot than Buzz.
last i heard (from eberly himself) was that western was going NO WHERE near ny for the iona meet of champs. they don't even have a budget like that to travel halfway across the country to run at vcp. if rumors are correct, it's adams going to ny.
I just noticed Tyler Cardinal is now on Iona. This guy was old enough as it is in HS at Xavier. I think he was 35. Now he's at Iona, after a hiatus at Seton Hall and scrounging around the race world wearing his lame Xavier Racing Team singlet as seen on mensracing.com. Somebody needs to put a stop to this monstrosity!
If McArdal doesn't win the race, ITS AN UPSET!
If Adams St doesnt win the race, ITS AN UPSET!
Adams doesn't even need to bring their best team in order to beat teams like UNH, Darmouth and Harvard. Show a little respect for a team that once perfect scored their NATIONAL MEET.
Adams state will need their "A" squad to beat Iona.
Honestly, who cares who wins? It's September. Look for Dartmouth, Iona, Adams and selected individuals to perform well, despite almost everyone training through the meet.
i agree. if you're running sub 25:30 as a team in sept
your either on the brink of greatness or its a long way to
sustain to the NCAA Qualifier. Race hard and take the
experience, can't win it in sept.
