Alright so my big race of the year is coming up this weekend and I\'ll be driving up to it tomorrow. I\'m running the 2 mile. I just have a question about eating until then. Normally my day consists of three pretty light but well balanced meals and for snacks I load up on fruit and snack on ceral and occasionally I\'ll have cashews or a granola bar. I\'m not sure what my meals will be like for this week but I\'m sure I can make them healthy. My questions about snacking, I brought some fruit but a lot of foods I don\'t typically eat such as trail mix, cereal bars, healthy crackers and snacks of that nature. Is it a bad decision on my part to start snacking on food like this that I\'m not used to eating (I think there higher in fat too) while I\'m tapering for this race? would this throw my performance off any?
