With the exception of letsrun.com favorite "Hey there Delilah", the world of popular music has produced few good summer jams this year. Most of the big hip hop songs are pretty terrible. I do like Kanye's new song, "Stronger". However you feel about his political views, you have to agree that guy can't miss with his music lately.

Hey There Delilah sucks. Go listen to Paramore, then you'll hear some good, catchy pop/rock.
Yes! I was thinking about this the other day. Usually there are songs that define the summer for me, but this summer has been terrible indeed. "Hey there Delilah" will bring back memories of this summer when I hear it in the future, but that's about it.
Linkin Park's What Ive done is a good song.

Man, I hate when those musical inspirations don't come right on cue just in time for the summer to push out something for people to listen to while they're bored between school years. Stupid muses. Don't they know marketing firms and record labels have goals and schedules!
