It is a nice smaller marathon and well organized. To be honest, unless you run one of the biggies(Boston, New York, Chicago, Twin Cities) it's going to be a light crowd from 2:40 down no matter where you go.

I have a question for those guys who have run at or near 2:20. How many miles per week on average would you say you run close to 5:00 min mile pace? Or how many miles would you run per week say under 5:15 pace? Or what percentage of the total week? Obviously not in a row. I have averaged about 75 miles a week for the past two years with highs and lows for races and training. I will probably hit 75-80 this week and 11-12 of those miles will be 5:15 or better spread out in different tempo style runs. Example: 6 mile run alternating 5:10/6:10 on the track. This past May I ran 2:28:50 and I am currently focused on a fast August 5k (14:40) goal, with the Steamtown marathon as a plan this October.
Updates for the last week?
