I just went for my first morning run in Beijing. It was about 4 miles long and I found two new places to run, a beautiful grassy park and an standard 400m rubber track. I went early to avoid the heat and smog. It was not bad at all. For all you people who complain about the pollution and inability to run, get some balls. It was so refreshing to get out and run and to see so many people active in the morning, that is one of a few things I wish America would adopt from the Chinese. I was nervous at first about running in Beijing, but this looks to be a great couple of months training my mind and body.
