TWill has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 4 years straight 4-5 days per week so his skills are very high but Diaz is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu under a great instructor and also has crazy stand up skills. Diaz would kick Williams' ass in less than 1 minute. I still would definitely pay to see it because I know TWill would give it a go if he had to.
MMA is still a very young sport. You still read about MMA fighters (only the very talented ones) who're at a decent level without lots of background. If Williams' BJJ training was good quality, then I bet he's a year away from being at a pretty high MMA level (if he decided to make it a goal). He already has a big headstart on the conditioning dep't, as sprints/interval running are part of the MMA conditioning package. Muscle endurance (not necessarily brute strength) is too, and Todd's always been pretty muscular. At worse, he'd have a good headstart in that dep't as well. Plus, he played football in HS for a while (I think), so he's not foreign to contact. IMO, Todd would have a lot of things going for him if he went that route.
Also, I think Todd easily beats Diaz in any kind of triathlon.
