Yeah and it ONLY worked because Bekele had a bad day, it will never ever succeed when Bekele is in normal shape which is 9 times of 10. Sure Mottram can try and see if Bekele has a bad day again...if he's wrong he's smoked.
Mottram took the bronze, I believe he got maximum pay-off that day. He was some tenths of a second behind the gold after a sprint, why try a different strategy in Osaka??? He needs to work on his confidence if he thinks he needs to run away from the kickers, he is a kicker himself.
Commonwealth Games and World Cup isn't World Champs....big difference in competition.
