who are the contenders? who will make finals?
who are the contenders? who will make finals?
Ryan Brown and...Ryan Brown
Alysia Johnson of Cal for the women wins it easily in under 2:00. Make that under 1:59.
The men? ... Not so clear.
what will the winning time be for men?
I run a sub 2 800
Sacramento State has a hard (surface) track, fairly fast though. I think you'll have a cluster of 1:46-47 marks in the final. I don't have a strong feeling about the winner which means it will likely be an interesting, close race.
ryan brow ftw
lomong FTsquatandtakeashitonhischestandwin
I'm going to go with Andrew Ellerton...he normally run 1:48 high 1:49 low most of the season, before dropping the hammer at NC's or just before it. He's already at 1:47 this year, so I'll take him. Brown should be the fav going in.
1. ryan brown
2. shaun smith
3. dominic tanui
4. andrew ellerton
5. steve prefontaine

LOMONG DOULBED A 1:47 YOU CRACK SMOKING HIPPY C*********
do you have any idea if lomong will be competing in the 800m at ncaa's? or the 1500m? or both?
who returns the fastest times?
like who returns a fast time from last year that redshirted, other than those on the national list this year.
looking at the list, it looks wide open. of course ryan brown, with a 1:46.29 last year puts himself way ahead, but is anybody else in that position.
its easy to look at times this year, but i'm sure there are some that some have run faster or up near the top ten.
is there somewhere to find that list?
TETLO EMMEN, redshirted last year. Came off injury to run a smooth easy 1:48 at conference. He ran 1:46 last May. Look for him to win
Ellerton
wow ...1:46... that would be number one on the performance list if he ran that this year, a year later in may. is there anyone else, other guys that could come out and shock everyone?
Ryan Brown.

you act like 1.46 is some amazing time.
ellerton ran that last year
I think 800 fan was asking if there was anyone else(like Ellerton) that had run fast last year but not in uniform or guys that have a shot at winning it. No, 1:46 isn't AMAZING, but its pretty damn fast. You could say that anyone who has run under 1:47 has a shot, WHO are those guys, and which ones are tough enough to fight for the title?
Tim Bayley.
I would love to see Tom Lancashire of FSU take a chance and run the 1/2.
