I'm a high school senior who's done many 70-80 mile weeks in the past. This year, it's been kinda hard. I was injured early on and have just been building up mileage, and now, we're racing twice a week and my coach is having us do short, fast workouts. I have been doubling at most of the meets and my second race is usually towards the end of the meet. If I go for a very long run, my team will be waiting on me to leave, and I'm usually pretty tired anyway. If I take a recovery day, it really hurts my mileage, so I haven't been the past couple weeks. This week I have 4 races in two days. How can I squeeze in some mileage without tiring myself out too much?
