this morning i ran 12x1k in 3:01-3:04 w/ 1 min recovery. it wasn't on the track though, a dirt path. i'm racing a 10k in 2 weeks on the track. what should i shoot for? i haven't done any races lately and dont really know where my fitness is at. the workout was solid through 10, the last two hurt pretty good though. my mileage has been around 80-85 now for the last 6 weeks and i have mainly been doing tempos and hills, nothing very specific.
