Straw man argument. It doesn't logically follow that because a criminal would prefer easier prey that virtually unconstrained firearm possession is warranted.If firearm ownership were an adequate deterrant, why do these crimes currently occur. Do you have any data to suggest that these crimes would increase if gun ownership was curtailed?
