The only problem I have with the comment about the aspartame causing your body to "revolt" and throw a food-craving tantrum is that I drink quite a bit of diet pop and I have never noticed a food-craving tantrum. If anything, drinking a diet pop can sate my hunger for a couple hours.
I have heard that argument before that diet pop makes you crave sugary foods, but in my experience, that just isn't the case. I'm not sure why.
