When you guys were running work ing fora living was a joke! Feet up on the desk and 30 hours a week!
That and the courses back in the 80's were all short anyways... :)
All these British runners doing sub-65 for HM - Vero hasn't got a chance if several of them intend to try to qualify for Beijing.
Even if he hits his 70min goal today, he's still well behind these guys.

The race was won in 63:36 by Simon Kisimili. No sub 63 on the day.
