any word on what/where it is? i just talked to tergat on myspace and he said he wants revenge from nyc.
Do you realize there is a 12 hour time difference between where you are at and Kenya?
I find it hard to believe that Paul Tergat would be chatting with a teenage "fan" at 11:00p on a Thursday night.
the430miler,
I hope you saw this picture of me on the iaaf website. Talk to you soon on myspace, bro!

430miler,
Is there any chance you can get Paul to train with you in Oklahoma?

no. it is low altitude and a bad place for kenyans to train.
there are only 2 main cities in oklahoma, tulsa and okc. people in the city drive cars and own houses, and people on the outside on the reservations own horses and many actually live in teepees. the urban and rural cultures of oklahoma are very diverse, and it seems like both take it to the extremes.
there is also alot of smog. even though there are no cars besides what in the city, i think i still breath in alot of smog even in my town of concho, which is far outside the city. it drifts here by wind, it is so windy due to the land being completetly plains.
besides that, he wouldnt have his training partner Robert Cheriyot. From our convos on myspace, it seems as though robert has a hard time keeping up with Tergat on hard training days; but Paul says that it is always good to have someone to run with (like robert) on recovery days.
Tergat does all of his recovery runs at 7:00 pace.

That's a good tibit. I'd say many on this site could learn something from that.
i have asked him (paul) what are the physiological benefits from doing recovery runs at 7:00, but there is still a slight communication barrier. we communicate fine, its just that sometimes we both have to rephrase certain things. i havent been talking to him very long.
i will ask/tell him how amazing it is that he is able to facilitate recovery at such a pace. its hard to believe 7:00 is so smooth for him the day after a race, after pumping out 430's-450's depending on the race distance. but then again, its not hard to believe; i mean, we are referring to Paul Tergat.

Your imaginary friend. Paul Tergat would have to be a very smart man to speak moron well enough to converse with you.
YOU ARE AN IDIOT.

I just love this post. There is so much here.
Either 430 is a real 17-year-old from rural Oklahoma or a truly brilliant troll.
