Lots of talk this weekend about what is or isn't wrong with Ryan Hall, but let's hear it for Deena.
When she shows up for a US race, it is no contest. US cross and again this weekend, she showed she's just on another planet. Those races were over five minutes in.
Deena sure uses an aggressive arm action. It looked like she was beginning her kick right off the starting line.

Although it's doubtful she'll be on a hotness thread anytime soon, she seems to be a very likeable person.
I really think that Deena Kastor is always "under the radar", as in, we take her for granted. She constantly puts up great performances, and is a tough racer. I always say that USA distance running isn't any good, and there's finally a resurgence coming. I always forget that Deena just keeps plugging away at success. What a humble and incredible athlete.

I'm really looking forward to the Boston women's race. Three of the biggest performers out there right now going head-to-head. Are they lining up rabbits or anything? I hope not. Just let them race.
