Who wins?
Who wins?
Rob Sorrell won! He stuck to the back of pifer and manzano until about 400 to go then just took off into the lead. He bareky scrapped away the victory over Manzano though in 3:58.x! Go OU!!!
Who where the top 8, in order?
serious?
no he's not serious
Yeah! Martin Smith is at it again! Sorrell is legit, what a stud. Here's the order I saw
Sorrell
Manzano
Pifer
Missouri guy
Stanley UT
Thorne UT
Oklahoma State guy
Iowa state guy
manzano 3:58.7, pifer 4:00.xx
That's what I said! Sorrell and Manzano at 3:58! then Pifer.
you're ugly and OU sucks donkey balls
Not in the mile, not today! Go Sorrell!
yea it was a good race. i cant believe sorrell pulled it off! to have the balls to hang on the back and kick in like that... wow! huge race for him and only a freshman too!
Sorrell came our if no where. who is this guy? anyine have any background on him? will 3:58.x make nats?

If it is true (which I have no doubt it is), that's freakin awesome. I live in the Memphis, TN area and have followed his HS career (along with A. Chuilli (sp)) for some time. Sorrell did not break 4:10 in the mile in HS and now he has run sub 4? Congrats to him and I hope Chuilli takes the 1000m...a good representation of TN runners.
Wow, I am more than surprised and am still not sure if I should believe this, but wow...
sorell blasted then all with 400 to go
(bullshit!)
i talked to someone at the meet and he said leo won. no way is leo losing to some joker from OU.

I would that be bullshit? Are you telling me that would be impossible? Even if his reported win on this board is false, I would be a little more "thoughtful" in my responses.
Sorrell has run 4:06 and 2:28 this year before big xiis. Not too far out of the question if you ask me.
so you are saying that sorrell could run his p.r. in the prelims then run it again on the d.m.r later that night, then come back the next afternoon and run an 8 second p.r. and get the collegiate lead? that;s not too far out of the question? are you high?
Here's your Big XII Mile champion!!!
