Does anyone know when the Boston Marathon clothing comes out to purchase? I know they said spring on the Adidas site but that's a fairly large time window. I would like to order mine before heading out for the race so I don't have to haul that crap back in my small carry on.
usually they send out that little catalog prior to the race. I might have already gotten mine, have to ask the wife.
An even better question, is when are they going to realize that those big, thick race-participant shirts are horrible, and give me something I can wear? If not a dri-fit shirt or something, at least buy the normal long-sleeve shirt from American Apparel or something so it is comfortable.
Those things are so uncomfortable. It is like wearing a big cardboard box.

I disagree. I think the shirts are great. I where them alot in the spring / fall with a tee shirt underneath.
i checked with the Bill Rodgers store and they said they should have the images by mid-to-late Feb. so it should be available to preview soon

Hmmm... I agree with the 1st guy, those things are horrible.
well, i've got 13 of those t-shirts, and they're just typical t-shirts. IMO better than average quality for cotton t-shirts. i've received poorer quality and i've seen higher quality.
i do wish more races would go with technical shirts.
wonder what color the shirts will be this year? they went away from the alternating yellow/blue pattern they held for many years. the shirts were: white in 2004, red in 2005, and a darker blue than typical last year... or is red, white and blue the new color scheme?
I think the quality of the shirt is probably really good, but it is not comfortable.

I have 10 of them, and some of them have been laundered many, many, many times, and still feel like cardboard.
I prefer extremely thin shirts, like the BDG t-shirts they sell at Urban Outfitters. Those are the only thing I buy there, but they last forever and rock the house.
Those Boston Marathon shirts feel like you have a shirt that is made out of Carhardt pants.
